Group Fitness

WIRAC provides over 35 group fitness and aqua classes per week.

ABS, BUTTS & THIGHS: class says it all
This class strengthens tones and shapes the stomach, butt and legs with a crazy burn like never before.

PILATES
Pilate’s aims to strengthen the “core” (i.e. abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks) improves physical co-ordination and balance.

PUMP: Weights to Music
A pre-choreographed low-impact class created to condition shape & tone the entire body. Utilising a barbell with adjustable weights, PUMP is as hard or easy as you want.

SENIOR FIT
Senior Fit classes are designed for adults aged 50+ who display an active lifestyle and are looking for a gentle mixed workout playing team building games or challenging strength and core in 60 minutes. Senior Fit is all about FUN.

STEP XPRESS
This aerobic based class uses an elevated platform with fun upbeat music giving an intense workout choreographed to work both your mind and muscles.

SPIN
Indoor Cycling classes offer high energy stationary bike workouts that enhance cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. Participants select personal intensity levels during the workout through body position and bike tension. You can burn 500+ calories per class, tones muscles and body shaping. Have fun in this action packed 45min class.

AQUA BOOTCAMP:
Aqua Bootcamp is a high intensity water class designed for those who want to push themselves in a water based fitness class. It’s great for cardio, muscle strengthening, core stability and improving posture.

AQUA BASIC
Is for all ages & fitness levels. Classes are designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness & muscular endurance & strength.

AQUA FIT
Is a high energy water workout. It is also a fun way to increase your muscular strength & endurance.

AQUA GENTLE HYDRO
Is held in our hydrotherapy pool. It is a gentle workout aimed at improving your muscles and physical wellbeing. Well suited to people who are recovering from injuries.

DEEP WATER
A high energy water workout held predominantly in deep water aimed at increasing your muscular strength and endurance.

ATTENTION PATRONS! PLEASE READ

WIRAC will be temporarily closing on the 24th of June until the 2nd of July. This effects Reception, Crèche, Aquatic Hall, Aqua Classes and Hydrotherapy will be closed.

  • The Gym is still operational during this time and will be able to gain access through the 24 hour door.
  • If you have your Gym/Gold membership, please make sure you are registered for the 24hr door by seeing reception to set you up. *Must be over 18years.
  • Group Fitness will be operating on a condensed Group Fitness Class timetable during this time, with access to the group fitness room from the Albert Street door next to the hydrotherapy which will be open 30min prior to the classes commencing.

Friday - 5.30am to 6.00pm
Saturday - 7.00am to 4.00pm
Sunday - 10.00am to 2.00pm

Centre
Monday to Thursday – 5.30am to 8.00pm
Friday – 5.30am to 6.00pm

Public Holidays:
9.00am to 4.00pm (subject to change)
Anzac Day - 12.00noon to 4.00pm
Good Friday - CLOSED
